Unrest || Don

Don assured Mac a smile even if it was just a small one that he could get out of his friend. "We're alive, that's all that matters right now, on top of finding who the hell was responsible for the explosion." he said.

Mac nodded and forced a small smile in return. "Hell of a life, isn't it?"he asked. He'd thought over the same question many a time during his career not only in NYPD, but his service in the Marines as well. No doubting that he'd been pushed to some scary limits, but he had also wondered if that's what kept him coming back... Strange, really... They faced so much stress on the job and yet here they were, back for another day. What kind of logic was that? He didn't know, but that was life. Hell of an answer, wasn't it?

Danny and Adam were working on finding who was responsible for the explosion at the Federal Building. In no time, Adam got a hit. "Whaduuuup???? I got a hit on who caused the explosion, Messer. Get a load of this guy. Eddie Tarville. Priors for grand larceny, grand theft auto, and arson." he said.

Danny shrugged. "Damn, that's a rap sheet if there ever was one. You want to swing by the hospital with me and tell those two boys in person? I'm sure they'd enjoy the visit,"he offered, pulling the keys to his car.

Adam nodded. "Yeah, that'd be great, Danny. I've been meaning to see them ever since the explosion happened." he said.

Danny nodded and flashed a small smile. "Sounds good. Now, if I know those two well enough, we can probably find Mac with Don and disobeying the doctor's orders by doing so,"he said with a partial smirk.

Adam smirked. "Mac disobeying doctor's orders. Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if he was. That's Mac Taylor for u." he said.

Danny nodded and smirked a little more. "Yup. I will not be surprised."

Adam and Danny arrived at the hospital to see Mac and Don and to brief them on the current case. "How u doing, NYPD, we're here to see Detectives Taylor and Flack." Danny said.

"They're both in room 7620, floor four,"the nurse said. "Take the elevator up and its to your left on the end."

Danny nodded. "Thanks, appreciate that very kindly." he said as he and Adam headed to the fourth floor to see Mac and Don. "Boom!! Right in there, I see Mac not staying off his feet. Typical boss man." Danny said.

"Obviously he's not afraid of Stella and the doctor giving him hell,"Adam said with a partial smile. "But it's true, that's the boss."

"Boss, I see you're definitely not following Dr. Hunter's orders. Why am I not surprised?" Danny asked.

Mac looked up and flashed a smile, leaning back against the wall to at least take weight off his left leg seeing as it was bothering him. "Because I'm Mac Taylor and you know that my middle name might as well be 'trouble,'"he said.

Adam nodded and smirked. "My name's Mac Taylor and my middle name might as well be trouble. That's uhh, that's some funny stuff right there, boss." he said.

Mac managed a tired smile and nodded. "I try,"he said, leaning his head back against the wall he was already leaning against. "Sense of humor is almost required for this line of work, eh?"

Adam nodded. "Yeah. Yeah I believe that was our requirement when we signed up for this job. Anyways, we came by to run some 411 regarding the current case." he said.

Mac looked over at the two in interest. "What have you got for us?"

Adam looked at Mac and Don. "Eddie Tarville. Priors for grand larceny, grand theft auto, and arson. He's got a rap sheet the size of the Hudson River." he said.

Mac nodded. "Last known or current address?"

Danny nodded. "East 57th, Astoria, New York, boss." he said.

Mac nodded. "Take Hawkes with you when you go, that way I know you have some sort of back-up. And I'd advise maybe taking one of the officers that's free at the precinct. I'd go with you, but even I have my limits allowing orders from doctors," he said with a partial smile.

Danny smiled. "I'll take Lovato with me, Mac. I'll let u know what we find when we get up there." he said.

Mac smiled and nodded. "Good deal. Keep me posted."

Danny nodded. "Before we go, u boys need us to get u anything, Mac?" he asked.
