Mac smiled a little and nodded in understanding. "I'm sure you'll do fine, Danny," he said, looking over at him, "And you need any help with them, you know my number. I'll get them in line," he added, smirking softly.

Mac grinned and nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a plan," he agreed. "I'll get you started once I'm a little more recovered so you and I can work around some old cases to get you familiar with what we do before we start you on new cases, how's that sound?" he offered.

"I can even show u what we do back at the Precinct if you're interested, kid. I can show u how we track down suspects, all that neat stuff." he said.

Brad smiled. "That'd be great," he said. Mac smiled himself and nodded. "You can probably learn most of that pretty well by the time I'm ready to start working over those cases with you, so it'll give you something to do while I get back on my feet," he pointed out. "And trust me, there's no one better than Don to show you around down there. He'll make sure you're comfortable and know what you need to know."

Mac nodded in agreement. "He is," he confirmed without hesitation. "I'll tell you this flat out right now, there's no one I trust more, on and off the job, than the team I'll say I'm lucky enough to work with. Without Don and the rest of them, God only knows where I'd be now."
